How much does EV charger installation cost?
A typical standard EV-charger installation ranges from approximately R5,000 to R7,000, depending on the site conditions, cable distance, required protection equipment and the capacity of the existing electrical installation. The EV charger itself is priced separately. We confirm your exact price after a free site assessment so the price you get is the price you pay.
How long does an installation take?
A standard home charger installation is usually completed in one day. Board upgrades or long cable runs may add a day.
Do I get a Certificate of Compliance?
Yes. Every installation is signed off by our registered electrical contractor (EC 0/3000-2/26) and comes with a CoC for insurance purposes.
What warranty and after-installation support do I get?
Every installation carries a 12-month workmanship warranty, and an electrical Certificate of Compliance is issued on successful completion and testing. Clients also receive access to our 24-hour WhatsApp technical-support line during the first 12 months following installation: we assist remotely first, and if the issue cannot be resolved remotely, we arrange a site visit to inspect and diagnose the installation.
Can my charger run off solar?
Yes. Our solar division can size a system so your vehicle charges from your panels or battery during the day.

Every EV charger installation is carried out by qualified electricians in full compliance with the applicable wiring regulations, and includes a Certificate of Compliance.
Approved Equipment & Standards
Our installations use equipment carrying the applicable NRCS approvals and are completed in accordance with the relevant requirements of SANS 10142-1 and other applicable standards.
12-Month Workmanship Warranty
We provide a 12-month workmanship warranty on our EV-charger installations, and an electrical CoC is issued upon successful completion and testing.
